There is no such name as Lakeview Estates in Mobile County records. The name of this subdivision is Lake View West (1, 2, and 3) according to the Mobile County Plat map. The letters were put on the monument with money from the Optimist Lake Walmart out of court settlement in the 1990s. The legal process for changing the name of this subdivision was subverted. This name is a fraud on the people of Mobile.
At the same time, Highland Park Subdivision monuments were knocked down and never replaced. This left people to assume the households of Highland Park Subdivision were living in a subdivision fraudulently deemed “Lakeview Estates”.
Theis is called corporate raiding. The FAKE HOA was stealing Highland Park Subdivision and it’s associated assets.
“A corporate raider is an individual or firm that acquires a majority stake in a target company, often through hostile takeovers, with the goal of selling off its assets or forcing a merger for profit. These actions are often driven by the belief that a company’s individual parts are worth more than its total value. Which is the case of Highland Park Subdivision if you do the math. The 25 acre lake is worth more in individual parcels than as a 25 + lake and wildlife habitat.
The FAKE HOA that violently pushed for “merger” and “canceling Highland Park Subdivision” were in essence and action “Corporate Raiders”
Below is how a Corporate Raider Operates:
Exit Strategy: The raider’s goal is to exit the investment and profit from their actions, often within a short timeframe, before the negative long-term impacts on the company become a concern.
Identifying Undervalued Companies: A raider looks for publicly traded companies whose stock is trading below its intrinsic or book value, or whose management is perceived as underperforming.
Acquiring Control: The raider begins to buy shares of the target company on the open market or through proxy solicitations to gain a controlling interest and influence the board of directors.
Hostile Takeover: If the company’s management resists, the raider may launch a hostile takeover bid, using various defensive tactics like greenmail (buying shares at a premium to the raider) or poison pills (making the takeover less attractive for a raider) to gain control.
Restructuring and Asset Sales: Once control is established, the raider often replaces the existing management team and then sells off valuable assets, liquidates parts of the business, or forces a merger with another company to generate returns on their investment.
Corporate Raiders to take Highland Park’s assets still launch poison pills on the daily and have for the past ten years. Once it was evident that the owner/corporation, HIghland Park Community Association, would resist the takeover personal smear campaigns, intimidation presses, and vandalism were launched against the HPca Board of Directors. Making it undesirable to serve to HPca manage the land that provides a park for the community.
